Do you enjoy working in a dynamic logistics environment and are you a hands-on worker? For our client in Amsterdam Westpoort, we are looking for motivated Warehouse Employees / Reach Truck Operators.
Don’t have a reach truck certificate yet? No problem — you can obtain it through us.
This full-time position is on a temporary employment (agency) basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract if you perform well. The role is also suitable for labor migrants. If needed, we can arrange accommodation and transport.
What will you do?
As a Warehouse Employee / Reach Truck Operator, you are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. In addition, you support various warehouse tasks and ensure that products are stored and shipped correctly.
The work consists of 80% order picking and 20% operating a reach truck.
Your tasks include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving, checking, and storing goods
- Picking orders and preparing them for shipment
- Stock control and inventory counts
- Working with a WMS system and scanners
- Proper storage according to FIFO/LIFO principles
- Moving goods using a reach truck
Work environment
You will be working in a cold storage environment (refrigerated and freezer warehouse) where temperature control is very important. This means you will regularly work in cold areas. Suitable protective clothing and equipment will be provided to ensure you can work safely and comfortably.
What do we ask?
- You speak Dutch and/or English
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience operating a reach truck is a plus
- Possession of a category B driving licence
- Knowledge of automated logistics systems is an advantage
- You work accurately and are a strong team player
- You have a hands-on mentality and are comfortable working in a cold environment

- Starting salary level D1: €16.64 gross per hour
- Cold environment allowance on top of your hourly wage € 0,26
